Usually it is better to overdress than under dress. Most often, men wear suits with ties. However, you need to know something about the company you are going to interview with before jumping to that conclusion. It is good to do some research to find out their general philosophy about the workplace environment. Some companies have a more laid-back atmosphere and wearing a suit would make you look foolish. Also, the location is important. If you are going to be working in New York City, you need a suit. If you are in California, something more casual will probably be appropriate.
