Every spring for a little more than a month, Arizonans get out of the house to go to the annual Renaissance Festival. The desert is transformed to be like living in medieval times, with knights, damsels and medieval mens clothing. These can even be purchased at various vendors to wear.

You may watch an old style joust, or various comedic performances and even an old style puppet show. There are various games and places you can purchase fun stuff. Furthermore there's a great amount of food like the turkey legs. The food can be quite expensive so be prepared to spend a lot of money.
